Rules and Regulations
- The entry to and exit from the hostel is scheduled between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m.
- Guest visiting hours are scheduled between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. However, the guests are not permitted inside the rooms.
- The inmates should make appropriate entries in the movement register while entering/exiting the hostel outside beyond the scheduled hours.
- The inmates should occupy the rooms allotted to them by the warden and nobody is permitted to visit other rooms. They are responsible for their own personal belongings.
- The inmates should keep the rooms and hostel premises neat and tidy.
- The use of electrical appliances such as iron box, heater, hair dryer etc. is strictly prohibited in the rooms. They can be used in the common place provided for the same.
- Overnight stay in the friends' or relatives' houses will be allowed only with the prior written permission of parents/guardians of the hostlers. The hostel authorities will not be responsible for events happening outside the hostel due to the negligence of the inmates.
- Going out of the hostel anywhere other than to the work place or CED training institution needs the prior permission of the warden. Matters like going for private tuition, project classes, attending functions etc. are not allowed unless a prior written request of the parents is submitted to the warden well in advance.
- The mess timings will be displayed on the notice board. The dining hall shall remain closed after the scheduled time.
- The bonafide certificate from the employer or CED in the case of trainees is mandatory for admission into the hostel.
- Consumption of food in any form is restricted to the mess hall only. Smoking / Liquor / Drug are strictly prohibited.
- The use of mobile phone in the mess hall is strictly prohibited.
- The inmates should maintain strict silence between 9.00 p.m. and 5.00 am. The usage of Mobile phone without disturbance to others is mandatory.
- No inmate shall be allowed to stay in the hostel during the working days / working hours. Only on the permission given by the warden, they will be allowed for genuine reasons.
- Celebration in the rooms is strictly prohibited.
